Brittany holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from SUNY Potsdam, bringing a strong foundation in helping organizations and communities grow through strengths-based approaches.  Outside of her passion for growing community, she is also very passionate about competitive swimming.  As a collegiate swimmer herself, she has a background in coaching swimming, having served as both an assistant collegiate coach and a club coach, where she developed a deep appreciation for teamwork and leadership.

Brittany is also the founder of Food Truck Fridays in Lewis County, NY, a vibrant community event that celebrates local food and connection. She also actively contributes her time serving on the boards of the Turbine Swim Club and the Pratt Northam Foundation.

Brittany lives in Denmark, NY with her husband and their two sons, Walker and Remington. Her family, love of nature, and commitment to community are at the heart of everything she does.

With a decade of experience in rural economic development, Brittany brings a grounded, people-first approach to strategic planning, facilitation, and organizational growth.

Before launching Focus, Brittany spent 10 years building Naturally Lewis from the ground up, leading marketing, business development, and community programs that brought opportunity to a rural region and sparked real momentum.

Under her leadership, she guided the successful merger of economic development, tourism, and Chamber functions into one unified nonprofit, creating a streamlined, collaborative structure for local progress.
